The Marquette County Huamne Society Inc, is an independent, non-profit, community-supported, open admission animal welfare organization. Our mission is to: Aid in the sheltering & adoption of animals,
promote responsible pet ownership, Actively educate & promote the importance of spaying & neutering to help alleviate pet overpopulation and to assist in strengthening the human-animal relationship. The
society is dedicated to educating and working with county-wide agencies concerning the welfare of animals. MCHS is located approximately one mile off of US-41 at 84 Snowfield Road in Negaunee Township in
the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. We are open to the public seven days a week 12PM-4PM. We never turn away an animal in need and there is no feed to admit a pet that you cannot keep or that you find as
